Catherine Arotsky

Catherine Arotsky is a Chartered Engineer through the Energy Institute.

Catherine has over 10 years experience in energy and environmental consultancy in relation to buildings, working at FaberMaunsell Ltd (previously ECD Energy and Environment) and National Energy Services before joining Rickaby Thompson Associates.

She has worked extensively with housing associations and local authorities, undertaking specification reviews, energy efficiency and sustainability advice and monitoring of innovative technologies. Catherine is a BREEAM Assessor, an EcoHomes and Code for Sustainable Homes assessor, a Competent Person for carbon dioxide emissions calculations under the Building Regulations via the FAERO Competent Persons scheme and a CEEQUAL Verifier. Catherine was one of the first BREEAM Accredited Professionals.

She also has experience in evaluating new and renewable energy technologies such as CHP, wind power, solar water heating and fuel cells.
